The BBC run a great little programme called Dragon’s Den in which people with business ideas come into the den and present their concept and vision to the Dragons – a bunch of well-known entrepreneurs and business people. Most of the visitors to the den get torn to pieces, and I heartily recommend the programme to my presentation skills clients. It is just incredible to me how badly so many of these people present themselves and their ideas. Great programme, not to be missed.

Each year, the BBC run a telethon called Children in Need and they always produce one-off specials of some of their most popular programmes. This year they did a special Dragon’s Den. With kids.

I see so many woeful presentations put together by well-meaning entrepreneurs. Boy oh boy is it not enough to just have a good idea. This little man could teach many a start-up how to better do their thing in front of a VC. Enjoy.
