Bruce Bueno de Mesquita’s talk from TED this year, where he shows how to use Game Theory to predict large-scale negotiations. I noticed that his slides were particularly strong in illustrating his talk and wasn’t surprised when I found reference to them in a Duarte Design blog post detailing the makeover. The ‘Before’ slides are spectacularly bad [think Thomas Barnett bad 🙂 ]. It’s great to see what a little time and effort can do to boost what was always going to be an arresting talk.

RSS Readers may need to click through to the post – it’s a TED thing, sorry.

Lovely post here too from Apollo Ideas with a clear example of breaking up a bullet-pointed slide into a far more memorable and effective series of images. Give them some clicky goodness – it’s well worth your while to see how simply and well this can be done.
